Products sold by BattReStore are 100% genuine and carries warranty as per the manufacturers policy as per the respective product specification. Manufacturer is solely liable for all warranties & settlement of warranties of the said product. Manufacturer's decision over the warranty claim shall be final and binding to the customer.
Warranty period comprises of two parts namely Free of Cost & Pro-Rata.
If a battery is being replaced, Free of Cost basis the warranty commences from the date of sale of the original battery as stated in the original Warranty Card and not from the date of replacement given.
For batteries purchased on Pro-Rata warranty settlement discount, a fresh warranty is applicable from the date of purchase.
Typically the warranty on the battery is mentioned as follows for E.g.:
- In all cases the warranty is applicable from the date of sale to the original purchaser.
- If the Automotive Battery is supplied through OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) then the warranty is applicable from purchase date of the vehicle and warranty period is as per the agreement between the Vehicle Manufacturer & OEM Supplier. Typically the period is 12-18 months, refer vehicle owners manual.
- The right to determine whether a battery needs repair, rectification, free replacement or pro-rata settlement rests with the Manufacturer Company.
- The charging system & electrical circuit of the vehicle/genset/inverter/charge controller shall be checked by the Company's authorised or BattReStore personnel before finalising settlement of any Warranty Claim. Recharging of battery shall be billed as extra.
- Adjudication and settlement of claim will take a couple of days as the battery has to be tested for the reported failure.
